Contribution to Your Learning and the Learning Community 5318 - 5320
EDDL 5318: 90/100
EDDL 5320: 90/100
According to Rebeca Chavarría, an educator and general director of the Bright Spot Learning Center, Learning Communities enable people to work together towards common goals by defining objectives with the input of all members. To achieve success, it is crucial to encourage a critical, egalitarian, and reflective dialogue that promotes the contributions of individuals from different groups and with diverse cultural backgrounds. This reflective process allows you to assess your ability to be a self-directed learner by evaluating your contributions to your learning and the learning of your peers. Learning to self-assess is vital to becoming a lifelong, self-directed learner.
The past eight weeks have been quite hectic as I reflect on my learning experience in these courses, my personal life, my professional career, and my community. I want to acknowledge the valuable contributions and support I received from EDLD 5318 and 5320. However, I still maintain a growth mindset and realize there are areas where I need to improve. I understand feedback is crucial for learning, so I have changed my thinking about feedback and become a more successful student and learner.
These two classes are related and share similarities and strategies: EDLD 5318: Instruct Design Online Learning EDLD 5320 Synthesis Digital Learning Leader.
I have gained considerable experience and knowledge, but I understand the importance of continuously learning from others and sharing my knowledge. My hard work has been worth it as I constantly enrich my knowledge. Through my courses, I have learned how to analyze and evaluate various digital resources and learning environments and how to use them to enhance learning effectively. These courses focus on effective professional learning strategies like choice, ownership, voice, and authentic learning (COVA). My efforts have been rewarding as I continue gaining valuable experience.
Through the courses I took, I gained valuable experience. This experience has helped me understand, present, and share the information I have collected and tested in my environment. Moreover, it has been an excellent way to connect with others and demonstrate my leadership skills. The authenticity of this collective learning has been the key to my success.
I have completed a program that has deepened my understanding of digital learning and leadership and ignited a passion to continue my learning journey. As an educator, I am thrilled about the prospect of applying the knowledge and skills I have gained, which will significantly enhance my effectiveness in teaching.
This program has taught me the value of teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking in the digital age. These skills will prove invaluable both in the classroom and beyond, and I am eager to apply them in practical ways to benefit my students and colleagues.
As the days progressed, I realized these courses have great connections with My 3 Column Table and Ubd Design to strengthen my final product. The way has been opened to various innovative practices and methods that aim to improve the teaching structures of the past. This will benefit meaningful learning. As a result, they will remember what they have learned and can apply it in the future. I invite you to see My Innovation Plan.
In particular, CSEL, by incorporating blended learning and new technologies, adapts to changes, is connected, seeks new ways of learning through innovation, cultivates the imagination, and learns by doing New Culture.
Creating my learning philosophy, having an open mind, a positive attitude, and high daily expectations, focusing on two fundamental aspects: the nature of my learning and the purpose. Education is in motion, inviting us to rethink ourselves to find our motivation to continue learning. As we progress in our study of Align Results And Activities, activities, evaluations, and results, The 3 Column Table And The Ubd Design helped me connect with my audience in a digital and mixed way, presenting all my ideas in all my works and showing the learning acquired. My perspective continued to grow regarding the Growth Mindset. This course allows me to see my mistakes and failures as an opportunity to learn and develop my skills to succeed.
I began mainly by incorporating the methodologies I had learned into my effective professional learning; I started with A Call To Action. I needed existing tools to improve and enrich my audience's learning. The Innovation Plan, incorporating blended teaching and new technologies, has opened the way to various innovative practices and methods that aim to improve the teaching structures of the past. This will benefit authentic and meaningful learning.
Integrating technological tools plays a fundamental role when creating meaningful learning environments because it quickly improves my level of learning. The plan and resources I designed and developed are authentic and unique in how teaching is an ongoing process that goes beyond "initial training" in general terms. "training." It is "the process through my audience, alone or with others, of reviewing, renewing and developing their commitment as agents of change, acquiring and developing knowledge, skills, and intelligence."
Using the five principles created by Gulamhuissen, effective professional development can help develop different competencies in designing and implementing content, strategies, use of technologies, and other elements of continuous learning improvement. Professional Learning will demonstrate how to "teach while I use it." From the first session, you will start to learn.
The instructional design offered techniques and outcomes that helped us organize and apply our learning to a practical design. At the same time, the Synthesis Digital Learning Leader also aligned all elements into a coherent structure.

Evaluation As Learning

Courses EDLD5318 and EDLD5320 have been thoughtfully crafted to complement each other in a supportive manner. EDLD5318 emphasizes the development of a comprehensive instructional design sample course, providing students with practical hands-on experience. Meanwhile, EDLD5320 centers on reflective learning, encouraging students to think deeply and critically about their work.
Each academic term, I strive to establish a connection between the substance and significance of every course, assimilating knowledge and extracting insights from novel concepts. The distinctive benefit of this arrangement is that the readings, models, and tasks from each course complement and enhance one another. Looking back, my efforts in one course bolstered and propelled my achievements in the other.
I Support The Contribution.

Our group fosters constant communication and mutual support, where decisions are made together. Throughout the eight weeks, we have utilized Zoom to clarify doubts and engage in productive discussions - a crucial component of our success. I found great value in reviewing my colleagues' work, as it allowed me to appreciate their abilities and accept their opinions of my work. Additionally, we analyzed documents using citations using the APA standard, and I shared helpful links with the group. We all contributed to sharing resources, homework tips, and feedback to help each other succeed. However, I could improve my leadership skills within the group. It is also worth noting that I delivered all my work on time and followed the rules established by my mentor. I welcomed and incorporated feedback from my instructors and peers into my assignments.
I was a collaborative team member who encouraged debate in our weekly discussion forums and virtual meetings. By consistently bringing value to each work session, I often assumed the role of a leader by initiating discussions or summarizing our group's conclusions. This proactive approach facilitated our collective learning and fostered a sense of unity and shared purpose within our group.
Our WhatsApp group was active, and they said we help each other with questions. We share experiences and knowledge about our teaching skills daily in the classroom.
I diligently reviewed all the necessary readings and videos for the course, actively engaging in select live classes and breakout sessions. I also made a point of contributing to the course forums promptly, resulting in fruitful discussions with my fellow peers.
In reflection, I am pleased with the positive impact on my personal growth and the learning community. Moving forward, I intend to hone these skills further and assume a leadership position when optimal timing presents itself. I anticipate reaping the benefits as I become more familiar with the program and its innovative CSLE+COVA approach. Additionally, I am excited to observe how subsequent program courses will build upon and connect the concepts, themes, and materials as I progress through the accelerated ADL option.
