Each course in the DLL program is a valuable stepping stone in my journey as an educator. Throughout the program, I have gained confidence in using digital tools for my students and learning. Additionally, I have shared my knowledge with others through leadership opportunities, such as specific opportunities.

Reflecting on the program principles and course objectives, it is incredible to see the transformation from where I started to where I am now. The program's comprehensive content is a testament to its effectiveness and has been vital to my educational development.

WHERE ARE YOU IN YOUR INNOVATION PROJECT?

I use a unique instructional approach in my ongoing innovation project to cater to the specific educational needs of each of my students. As modern education demands, addressing individual requirements for effective learning is crucial. My teaching method involves working with students to enhance their language skills, allowing them to learn and perfect two languages and obtain certification from primary user to proficient user levels. This method also helps students create a framework of skills and strengths, enabling them to communicate using academic vocabulary and face the world confidently. Additionally, students will learn verbal structures to discuss past, present, and future events and situations and recognize the broad language spectrum. My language learning methods include reading, writing, communication, listening, and technology utilization.

WHAT IF ANYTHING DO YOU HAVE TO COMPLETE?

During this time, I have been actively implementing and sharing the ideas from MY PROFESSIONAL LEARNING outline with my colleagues. They need to understand that empowering our students to reflect, connect, and take control of their learning process is the most crucial aspect of this innovation plan. My colleagues' support and understanding are necessary for the success of this plan.

While some phases of my professional learning outline have been completed, such as phase I, which involves building and creating background knowledge, some aspects still require attention. For instance, I must complete phase II of my professional learning to finalize the plan. I eagerly look forward to implementing my plan for the remainder of the school year.

WHAT COULD YOU DO BETTER?

In my organization, I prioritize developing compelling professional learning experiences over relying on lengthy training sessions that only require teachers to memorize information. Quality professional development is essential for successful implementation. In addition, teachers can foster creativity by leading collaborative efforts that provide choice, ownership, voice, and authenticity (COVA MODELS). This approach gives participants firsthand experience of what it is like for students and gives them valuable opportunities to grow.

WHAT LESSON HAVE YOU LEARNED?

I appreciate this question because my experience with ADL has helped me grow and evolve as a teacher. The program has taught me to develop a growth mindset and encourage my students to adopt it. I also learned how important it is to implement meaningful organizational change.

In the future, I plan to continue addressing the challenges of creating a learning environment that fosters passion, imagination, and creativity. I want to motivate my students to achieve their reading goals using COVA models like choice, ownership, voice, and authentic learning. This approach helps develop a GROWTH MINDSET.

Additionally, I now know how to incorporate play into the classroom, making the lessons more engaging for my students. I use blended learning to integrate new technology with traditional classroom activities, allowing students to personalize their learning experience. “This approach leads to greater student engagement, collaboration, and creativity.

WHAT WORKED?

I have successfully implemented blended learning models in my classroom by establishing a daily schedule focusing on my students' academic goals. As a result, other teachers have expressed interest in this approach and are waiting to see how it works before considering implementing it in their classrooms. This approach has allowed my students to take control of their activities, which has resulted in a true reflection of their learning journey. Moreover, I have applied the concepts learned in the ADL program, such as utilizing growth mindset language, reflecting, and sharing COVA+CSLE, to be more effective in the classroom and create a conducive learning environment.

EDLD 5302 Educational Technology Concepts course provides a PROFESSIONAL LEARNING experience to help me cultivate a GROWTH MINDSET. Through this course, I am learning to take on challenges and accept my mistakes as opportunities to develop my skills. I also implemented the COVA approach to take ownership of my learning journey and confidently articulate my ideas while exploring the core concepts of educational technology.

EDLD 5303 Apply Educational Technology course, I had the opportunity to create an e-portfolio that showcased my skills as a learner and digital leader. I expanded on my previous work and added new features to build my brand. The portfolio now includes an "ABOUT ME" section, contact information, teaching philosophy, EMAIL LINKS, digital learning resources, videos, and a blog, including an about me section, contact information, teaching philosophy, link to my email, digital learning, videos, and BLOG.

EDLD 5304 Leading Organizational Change: The course has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the process of leading change, a skill highly sought in the professional field. It taught me to consider the why, how, and what of goals. Using leadership skills, I learned how to communicate effectively, influence others, overcome resistance to change, and encourage innovation. LEADING CHANGE is a multifaceted process that requires strategic influence, effective execution, and clear communication.

EDLD 5305 Disruptive Innovation in Education: Improvement cannot exist without innovation. This course has challenged me to create innovative ideas, and I have done that by developing an INNOVATION PLAN. I have tested the effectiveness and importance of the plan through a thorough literature review. The world is constantly changing along with technology, and we must innovate and prepare our students for the digital future. Tested the plan's effectiveness and importance through a LITERATURE REVIEW. The world is changing, as is technology, and we need to innovate to prepare our students for the digital future.

EDLD 5313 Creating Significant Learning Environments: CREATING SIGNIFICANT LEARNING ENVIRONMENT (CSLE) Constructing a significant learning experience involves a careful blend of engagement, connectivity, innovation, a growth-oriented mindset, COVA, and other crucial elements. A robust constructivist LEARNING PHILOSOPHY provides the foundation for a significant learning environment that aims for big goals and utilizes a backward design approach that empowers students to take ownership of their learning. Technology integration is a vital component of this process, and it must be approached with a significant impact in mind.

EDLD 5315 Assessing Digital Learning and Instruction: Assessing the effectiveness of teaching practices is essential to being a great teacher and innovator. Knowing if students are engaging and learning in the classroom is crucial. Sometimes, it is easy to determine if a teaching method or strategy is working, but other times, it requires an in-depth study to measure its effectiveness. One effective way to DIGITAL LEARNING is through ACTION RESEARCH. Educators, as the key players in this process, can evaluate their practices and determine their effectiveness by conducting intensive studies. Based on the results obtained, educators can plan for improvement and ensure that the research is continuous and dynamic.

EDLD 5317 Resources for Digital Environments: Exploring and evaluating digital environments and resources is crucial for effective teaching. With the ever-increasing number of available digital tools, educators must identify and utilize the most valuable ones to transform student learning. As a leader, engaging in discussions about the practical implementation and pedagogical value of digital environments and resources for educational purposes is essential. I discovered my passion for this and found my voice to communicate my thoughts effectively.

EDLD 5318 Instructional Design in Online Learning: we design daily instruction to help our students learn and grow. When DESIGNING ONLINE INSTRUCTION, however, we face unique challenges. We must apply appropriate learning theories, create significant learning environments, and align instruction, activities, and assessments while connecting with our students to inspire a lifelong love of learning. Despite these challenges, we remain committed to developing our students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills and embrace the opportunity to help them become their best versions.

EDLD 5389 Developing Effective Professional Learning, I have curated a PROFESSIONAL LEARNING (PL) program to effectively communicate and promote the concept. This PL program has been designed and modeled to reflect authenticity, be active, have a significant duration, and cater to the needs of my target audience. Educators should always continue their learning and professional development journey. Thus, I have developed a PL series that enables me to learn and lead my peers.

EDLD 5320 Synthesis of Digital Learning and Leadership integrates digital technology with leadership principles to facilitate effective learning, teaching, and leading. Throughout the course, I have thoroughly analyzed, connected, and reflected upon my learning experiences to become a competent digital learner and leader. My acquired expertise has enabled me to identify and promote innovation, create significant digital learning environments, and lead organizational change. See my Innovation Project Update

In summary, this course has been instrumental in consolidating my knowledge and skills in digital learning and leadership. I am now better equipped to leverage digital technology to improve organizational outcomes and create meaningful learning experiences for my students.

As a primary school teacher, connect-the-dots pictures can be an engaging way to encourage students to learn. The DLL program, which comprised courses ranging from EDLD 5302 to EDLD 5320, was similar to such a picture, with each course serving as a dot that, when connected, revealed a larger picture of collaboration, innovation, and authentic learning.

Having completed the program and connected all the dots, I have gained a deeper understanding of what it takes to be a digital learner and leader. I am excited to continue my journey beyond the DLL, and the knowledge and skills I have acquired will enable me to be more effective as an educator.

Through this program, I have learned to value the importance of teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking in the digital age. These skills will prove invaluable both in the classroom and beyond, and I look forward to applying them in new and exciting ways.
